Lizzy G!
No shadows outside my window today.
More rain?
When will we get to mow our 'hay field' of a lawn?
18/Jun/15 12:05 AM
, all - enjoy your day ...however much you have left!
18/Jun/15 12:06 AM

Site time for me Joyce, 23hrs and 49 mins left of Thursday..
18/Jun/15 12:11 AM

Know that feeling Shiela, Monday to Thursday the weather is fine and the grass is dry enough to mow, but my lawn mowing man is at work on those days and it usually rains on Saturday and Sunday when he's home. Hope no wild animals get him!! if you know what I mean.

Are the boys still
18/Jun/15 12:15 AM
Oh! Lizzy! I know what you mean!
18/Jun/15 12:16 AM
Well, hubby is retiring in '9 working days'!!!
Maybe the lawn can get mowed! (Never thought of his retiring in terms of getting the lawn mowed, but I can see it will be an advantage!)
18/Jun/15 12:18 AM
Foolishly, I thought of retiring in terms of trips! But not around the lawn!
18/Jun/15 12:19 AM
(Actually, we have two big trips planned before the end of the year - and not around the lawn.)
18/Jun/15 12:21 AM
Good morning people of the world.
18/Jun/15 12:32 AM
Our rains had a start and stop thing going on yesterday, but evening came and it has been a steady flow, until about 15 minutes ago. Would have been wonderful sleeping weather, if the snorer wasn't a lump in my bed.
18/Jun/15 12:35 AM
Bro mowed Monday, and I gave Shelby Lou a bath, so I really expected these rains Tuesday. When the tempt said 83 and the humidity said 81% I was really looking for a relief.

A very useful little tool and looks well used.
18/Jun/15 12:43 AM
Our, on the side, neighbors have the best water hole when it rains. They are happy to let the girls have a blast it, because they said they love to watch them play. So the girls zoom their bikes through their drive, or just go splish, sploshing through. Well now that the road has been redone, our More...

Has anyone been in contact with Heidi? Or Sue?

During the move I lost Sue's number, so I cannot check on her.

, y'all! For anyone who'd like to see what a Girl Scout leader does... it ain't crafts, tea parties or girly stuff - at least not my troop! Check out the latest pics on my gallery for rafting, our cabin's site, and caving.

Well, last week I spoke too soon about having only gotten one answer to a poozle. It has happened again.
The answer to yesterday's poozle: The children were on their way to Sunday school.

Guess who sent me More...

What are the next two letters in the following series and why?

W A T N T L I T F S _ _

Silvergal, Loved the pictures. Looks like fun!

Remember, Ya all, if the picture is a little too big for the frame, you can 'zoom it' using the 'control key' and scroll wheel.
18/Jun/15 1:28 AM
Quite by accident, Mr Keith.
18/Jun/15 1:31 AM
I certain hope the warning is heeded!

Great pictures Silvergal, thanks for sharing.

Responding to a couple of comments on the pics... The rafts have sides, but you sit on them! It'd be more difficult to paddle if you sat down in them. Besides it makes falling or jumping out part of the fun!

The cabin had working shutters, actually! For air flow when occupied, to keep the More...

Seeing the rafting photos, I'm afraid I would have been IN the water more than in the raft.
And, there is no way I would have survived the enclosed spaces in the cave. The poor guide would have been hauling me around over his shoulder after I fainted. Yeah, I am claustrophobic.
18/Jun/15 4:01 AM
My first knowledge that my mother had any weaknesses came when I was 9 and the family started a 1 hour walk through the Oregon Cave. She got about 100 feet in and announced, ''I can't do this.'' I didn't know what claustrophobia was, but was amazed she couldn't do something that seemed like nothing to me.

You kind of anchor your feet, and use balance to 'right' yourself. Silverteen fell out once (she did either the year before or at summer camp) - just closed her eyes & mouth, went over & under! What was funny is that she came up SMILING!
18/Jun/15 4:54 AM
Her falling out didn't bother me, but what did worry the mama/troop leader was that she was drifting down river faster than we were.
18/Jun/15 4:55 AM
Good morning.
18/Jun/15 5:06 AM
First little Aussie out of bed again.
18/Jun/15 5:07 AM
I klnow Lizzy was here, but she's not been in bed so my statement stands.
18/Jun/15 5:09 AM
Lots of FFS in last post - and I already corrected 3 words.
18/Jun/15 5:10 AM
Need a cuppa - tea, not coffee - so I'm off to make it.
