Hi Wolf. Hi HalT..
Just dropped by to wish all the topsiders a good day.
It's been a bit warm downunder and I think we are in for a long hot summer. Bush fires have started burning around the country. There was a terrible glow in the sky yesterday afternoon.. never found out where the fire More...

I think we are expecting about 40*c later today. I am up late as I was finishing a book.
A nice fast puzzle. Quite a while since I have been so far under two minutes.

This style of teaser is to use the clues given to find two words that rhyme and fit the description. For example, 'a weird ape' would be 'a funky monkey,' or 'a wealthy Halloween gal' would be 'a rich witch.'

1. Hogs' Toupees
2. Dark Sign
3. Cow noise, Adhesive
4. Cheerful Diaper
5. Painful Ground

Answers to my ‘’rhyming’’ inbox please.

Some people spring clean, I Thanksgiving clean. I'm not sure why. We never host Thanksgiving here or anything like that. I'm currently working through the living room. Next week, the Kitchen is on my hit list.

Thanks for all the comments about my cuties. Baby girls has already been told that she is going to be my calm one. No mischief allowed.

A CP and I'm off to clean. That doesn't mean I won't be back Keith.

Good morning everyone; we keep having bonus Fall days with the ominous warning to prepare for the 'cold snap'. Looks like it might actually happen this time.

I have family coming on Tuesday. Unfortunately, my computer room will be taken over by an inquisitive 3 year old. She has her ''big girl'' bed in here. I learned the hard way that shutting down the computer and putting the keyboard and mouse away is a smart move. Also, the electric pencil More...

Good morning to all! Enjoying the water, and no paddle boat required.

I had good news and bad news after my hospital visit yesterday for my shoulder. The good news is that I do not need to go back unless I have severe problems. I can also start seeing my chiropractor again for treatment of my muscular pain in my back. The bad news is that my torn ligaments will never More...

I still have time for a joke though:

The aspiring psychiatrists were attending their first class on emotional extremes. 'Just to establish some parameters,' said the professor to the student from Arkansas, 'What is the opposite of joy?'
'Sadness,' said the student.
And the opposite of More...

Love that one, Greg!
I'm sorry about the bad part of your news. I hope that any discomfort can be handled with Ibuprofen. After trying exercise, heat/cold, etc., that seems to be the only thing that works for my tendonitis (tennis elbow). I only resort to that when it is really More...

Time for me to get a start on ''kid-proofing'' the house. It is absolutely amazing what a 1 and 3 year old can get into!

Kathy, I used to tell people how high Elijah could reach when he was a toddler. My middle two are/were climbers so there's no help there.
20/Nov/15 3:36 AM
Good morning people of the world.
20/Nov/15 3:50 AM
Kathy, sorry but I am laughing at the imagine of you trying to child proof for ages 1 and up. I can only go to nine and I have not mastered or even come close to child proofing, yet. Good luck on your attempts, though.

Serena, I don't think you are alone in your Fall clean out. I know in the Spring I open up and get all the being-closed-up-for-too-long out, but in the Fall I really need to get rid of, since I know more is about to come in. Plus I need to get out all the items that fit last week but are way too small this week out.

I think my city decided I didn't need to sleep in this morning. First the vacuum truck came around to suck up all the leaves we've raked to the curb. Then a big sewer inspection truck came around that was even louder. They put a great big hose down the sewer More...
