1:56 under 2 minutes. Photo is interesting with the silhouettes of both the windmill and the electric lines. Makes you think.
22/Jul/09 12:06 AM
I love to look at windmills reminds me of Cervantes' Don Quixote! Never mind the mad battles I loved the chivalry.

After being back east Aileen, I am enjoying our weather! Nice to be able to open the windows and doors without the oven blast! Today however I shan't be lazy, the carpets need to be shampooed.

Shall I put Ian out of his misery?
Oh, all right.
"What familiar phrase does the following represent?"
Answer: A blessing in disguise.
(Blessing being 'disguised' (hidden) in the word glibness.
See, Ian? That wasn't so difficult.
22/Jul/09 12:13 AM
BTW, CynB had another answer that I thought was also a good one. She said, "A mixed blessing".
Mo got the 'blessing' part right, and lost sleep doing it.
Plum was spot on!
Ian, well......he was enthusiastic! LOL

Hello to everybody. Hope today is a good one for all.
22/Jul/09 12:26 AM
Ready for another one? Too bad, here it is.

When swashbuckling adventurer Captain Swishbuckle had successfully navigated his way around the Seven Seas, he saw a terrifying sea monster. What type of sea monster was it?

This one is a bit easier than the last one.

Why do monkeys peel bananas from the bottom?
22/Jul/09 12:34 AM
Did you realize that glib spelled backwards is bilg?
22/Jul/09 12:36 AM
I like andré's "Bless gin". And speaking of booze, I made some peach daquiris last night, using Cruzan coconut rum. They were DELISH! I'd never tried coconut rum before but a couple of weeks ago at a restaurant in Flagler Beach, I had a mojito made with coconut rum. (That More...

Are windmills the answer to reducing glibal warming?
22/Jul/09 12:46 AM
DO monkeys peel bananas from the bottom???
22/Jul/09 12:46 AM
Dave - Right on! Didn't have time to spell out the whole word before the boat sank.
22/Jul/09 12:47 AM
Kathy - according to an article I read, if you peel a banana from the bottom, you don't get those annoying stringy thingies. The article also mentioned that monkeys peel from the bottom.
22/Jul/09 12:49 AM
I think you will find that it is us who peel bananas the wrong way. Haven't you ever noticed the 'handle' at the end? Ever since Steven saw a programme on this subject he always peels them so he has a 'handle'
22/Jul/09 12:49 AM
You are all just speaking gliberish!
22/Jul/09 12:50 AM
I officially nominate "gliberish" for the Sudospeak Dictionary.

Hazy/humid here, with a rainy week predicted (sorry, Greg!) so I got my jog-walk in early.
Jane, the peach daiquiris sound wonderful!
22/Jul/09 1:07 AM
Geez, André! A little light reading before bed??
Try 'Goodnight Moon', you'll sleep better.
