Some good news. I saw my vascular surgeon yesterday and he feels there is no need for an angioplasty right now. There is a slight narrowing om my new artery in one place, ut the doctor doesn't feel it warrants additional surgery.

Now it's just a question of time to complete the hearing and rehab process.

I am still wondering how to edit photos and avatars for this site without access to Gath's image processor.

Great news, Greg!

I use Windows Paint for a LOT of image editing and graphics design. I can get it to do a lot that other people can't. However it doesn't 'desaturate' the pixel richness as Gary's processor does. When you take a photo with a high megapixel camera and try to resize it with Paint the program ends up pixellating and ruining the image pretty fast.

Printer software does a much better job at desaturating pixels. Even some email programs do. My problem is that I can't use the programs I currently have to reduce pixel richness while retaining image integrity for on-screen viewing. I have to find an online processor and so have relied on Gath's up to this point. I'm not sure what the process is called so I can google the term.

I've never played with 'Print to File.' I wonder if Paint + my printer software will work?
