Hi Amelia - I just went outside and checked by it's quite cloudy tonight. I thought there was a comet over the other night according to our newspaper.
3:17 a slight improvement. What is the picture supposed to be, is it the eclipse of the sun??
Nice planet - I still prefer the blue one tho..
Anne if it's cloudy you might not see it, it was heading ssw with a wide trail behind fantastic to watch.

Time for bed for me too. Been a long time since my day started 19 hours ago in Sydney. Long drive, busy work shift, late night grocery shopping for drought relief, long catch up with emails and Sudoku pages .....
I think it's the photosphere of our sun through a filter. And, yes, I prefer to spend time on blue planets.
My time was 2:32. I think this is a photo of the sun using some kind of thermal imaging. At the edges solar flares are visible and some bright areas in the middle are sun spots.
My thought for the day:
Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I vow to use it to try to be a better More...
