Good Maen, all!

2:33. Hi Wolf, Good Morning, all! A bucolic (where did that word suddenly come from?) start to the day...
24/Jan/19 12:10 AM
Everybody.
While tom might be having a bucolic start to his day, it's raining cats and dogs here today and melting some of our snow. The skies are so grey I need lights on in the house. It's supposed to rain all day and then drop the temp tonight and start snowing again. It might be very messy.
24/Jan/19 1:39 AM
everyone!
Dreary, dreary, dreary here.
Hope you get to see a bit of sunshine in your day.
24/Jan/19 1:47 AM
Peter, I hope your son's house stays safe from the fires. In fact, I hope the fires don't continue to destroy property, and don't take lives (human and animals).
24/Jan/19 1:50 AM
Shiela, it sounds like we're having the same weather. I hope your skies clear too.
24/Jan/19 1:51 AM
Still snowing... still plowing... I found that plowing was not part of my OZ dictionary on my computer... It is now!
Our sky is white ...so white. have a good colourful day!
24/Jan/19 2:16 AM
all.
24/Jan/19 2:24 AM
Everybody!!
24/Jan/19 3:11 AM
We're just having a much needed light snowfall. Lawns should NOT be green in January... at least not at this latitude in this hemisphere!

everyone!!!
It's sunny here, nice and bright! But it got down to 47ºF8.3ºC. My fingers are still frozen! And as per doctor's order, I'm icing my knees.

I dedicate this post to Queen Anne

The picture on 'Hard' reminds me of an old song.

Isn't that pretty cold for your neck of the woods, Shosho? Our temps have warmed up enough that the rain expected should actually be rain and not the white stuff. I had a checkup last week and in the course of the conversation, my doc More...

Wendy for an interesting photo. Talking of weather we've just finished cleaning 20cm. of snow from the patio and driveway! Oh! and it's still snowing!
24/Jan/19 5:43 AM
All
Lovely photo indeed Wendy
24/Jan/19 5:58 AM
It is amazing how people look younger and younger as we get older and older.
24/Jan/19 6:04 AM
We sometimes get a little bit of snow, but not every winter, and it goes away by itself in a day or two. I can live with that.
24/Jan/19 6:05 AM
For now, the rain is over, and it is sunny, but still crisp.
24/Jan/19 6:06 AM
Gallump.
24/Jan/19 6:06 AM

Lovely photo,thanks Wendy.
24/Jan/19 6:40 AM
We're getting 45C (113F) today. Now that's hot. The sad thing is that I have to drive around in it. Oh well, thank goodness for air conditioning!!!!
24/Jan/19 7:02 AM
Hot, hot, hot in Adelaide, freezing and snow for the northerners and while this is all going on we're burning here in Tassie.

No loss of life thankfully, a property has been lost and plenty of wilderness areas have been decimated.
24/Jan/19 7:57 AM
Everyone!

Hey Doug, stop sending your weather over the border to us. Can't you send it into the straight.

No hang on Peter doesn't want it.

Oh hell keep it coming, a VB fix it.
24/Jan/19 9:08 AM
When California was burning, Trump suggested we were lazy, and should be raking our forest floor ... have you thought of that?
24/Jan/19 9:27 AM
A few more witticisms about advancing age. As Rage would say 'i can feel it now,' and we aren't talking about a VB.

6. Middle age is when a guy starts turning off lights for economic rather than romantic reasons. (Eli Cass)
7. I don’t let my age define me but the side-effects are More...
24/Jan/19 9:37 AM
By that logic I must be middle old age
24/Jan/19 10:17 AM
I can feel it coming on, it isn't old age, thats been here for yonks...
24/Jan/19 10:19 AM
You can get it digging a hole
You can get it getting old
Matter of fact I got it now
Cheers a ice cold VB Ahhh

Drink up everybody
24/Jan/19 10:21 AM
Do you think that would help, Keith?

I'll pass that onto the Tasmania Fire Service, then I'll leave town before I get laughed out of the place.
24/Jan/19 10:25 AM
Thanks, Rage, don't mind if I do!
24/Jan/19 10:26 AM
🙋🏼‍♀️Good maEn. I saw that auto correct you tried to capitalize my n !
24/Jan/19 10:45 AM
❄️🌧 weather song - slip sliding away !
But able to get where I want to be - or need to be
24/Jan/19 10:47 AM
Danstell, 'plowing' might not appear in the Oz dictionary but 'ploughing' certainly should.
Luckily it's not something we have to think about too much here.

For a change, despite our more northerly latitude our max temps are staying several degrees C below those in the southern More...
24/Jan/19 11:43 AM
1:35. Good afternoon everyone.
