Good Maen, Sudokuists !

Get a life, birthers

Damp, dreary and rainy.
But the grass is green.

[This especially for CG]

The Lone ranger and Tonto were riding though the forest and encountered a herd of deer.
They were short of good food so the Lone Ranger asked Tonto to pursue them, and to shoot one of them while he stayed behind to set up a forest BBQ.

Good morning!! I wish our grass was green. We have had no measurable rainfall since about September.
Thanks to all that recently sent me notes - I hope to respond individually soon.

I have to get ready and go test a couple of my math students - there are only about 500-600 in the whole country taking this test, and "I" have two of them! I wish I could take any of the credit for their success - they are great kids.

Plum, can't you just see Karen and the Things living in a pineapple under the sea?
28/Apr/11 12:17 AM
Here's today's puzzle in honour of Karen's new abode. Answers to the 'no, not Kathy's inbox' please!
The stoic rabbit lives under the sea. Lamented bears took honey from a bee. Let me now ask you: Can you find, in this little rhyming riddle sea creatures three?

Thanks, Sheila - I have had some truly awesome kids over the years.

Good Maen all. Windy, rainy with more bad weather forecast. A good day to stay indoors and online shop for a new washing machine.

Good morning people of the world.

Last night, lost TV and computer. So it was beddy bye for me early.
The storms were bad all around us, even after going to bed, we still recieved phone calls that tornadoes, were in the town 12 miles away. Max was behaving, so I just rolled over and went back to sleep.

Rayray: bet you wrote that one all by yourself, didn't you?
28/Apr/11 12:42 AM
What do you call the blind deer with no legs?

Still no idea!
28/Apr/11 12:43 AM
MIL, had called just before I went to bed and gave me a lecture. I need to watch the storms and take them seriously. Told MIL, the television went out, but I will look it up on the computer and see where the tornadoes are located. At that time, the computer went out. MIL, kept telling me, I need to More...

Woke up this morning to beautiful skies, nice cleaned land and much appreciated cooler weather.

Man said, the town 12 miles away, had a lot of tree damage. Thing I, was glad the twirling winds did not mess with the garden her class made. Then asked if she could go home.
28/Apr/11 12:45 AM
It does seem this nice clean air, has got all our noses working in over time.
28/Apr/11 12:48 AM
Fiona, was beginning to wonder if you were going to return. Nice to see you back.
28/Apr/11 12:49 AM
Thought I would bring out my crown for Royalty week.
28/Apr/11 12:50 AM
Good morning. Thoughts going to all those in tornado territory. Have not heard from Heidi since she had one predicted near her.
28/Apr/11 12:53 AM

Why, look who's back! Hi Bubbles!
Of course I was hard at work in your absence! I was as everyone will attest!!
(I do so love to see a grown woman cringe)

If you were so 'awesome' then how come nobody did the riddle yesterday????
28/Apr/11 1:14 AM
The answer to yesterday's puzzle: The prefix "a" can be added to all the words and they will still be words.

The winners, Captain J, HalT, lonewoof, Sarah(DC), and Grass-hopper receive this educational tome so they will be More...

My awesome-ness was a tad tarnished one day, I will admit. BUT, I have recovered fully, as you can see.
Speaking of seeing, that printing came out a little small. I hope everyone's lens prescription is up to date, or you have a good magnifying glass!
28/Apr/11 1:22 AM
Nice one Tricia.
I'll write an extension to the story - after they've eaten their BBQ legs of venison.
28/Apr/11 1:23 AM
Actually no, Halt.
My brother sent me that as a one-liner.
I just added the story-line.
28/Apr/11 1:25 AM
Blast it Kathy !
I puzzled for ages over that and it never clicked.
28/Apr/11 1:37 AM
Well, Fiona, that's one way of assuring a good response. This one should make Dorthea happy!
28/Apr/11 1:38 AM
Oh, Ray, you are such a wordsmith, I can't believe you missed it! Here, you need a dictionary, too.
