Only a few brave souls tried the puzzle today, but I did receive some regrets from a few as well.
As it had been a while since my last puzzle, I wanted to make this one a little tougher. I guess that worked!
No one got the answer to number one.

First in, Silvergal, with the best score More...

Am tired because came home from the ER last night almost midnight. Darn hubby got into another bike accident and acquired a compression fracture on one of his vertebrae. Ack!
28/Apr/15 12:38 AM
I wonder if we are going into winter or leaving it.
28/Apr/15 12:38 AM
You'd think he'd learn but once on that bike he thinks he's a teenager ready to race anyone!
28/Apr/15 12:39 AM
Hey I got my fav number!!!
28/Apr/15 12:39 AM
shosho, you might have to talk your hubby into another activity. Biking doesn't seem to be working for him so well.

Three brothers lived on a farm. They agreed to buy new seeds: Adam and Ben went and Charlie stayed to protect fields. Ben bought 75 sacks of wheat in the market whereas Adam bought 45 sacks. At home, they split the sacks equally. Charlie paid $1400 dollars for the wheat. How much did he pay Ben More...

Shosho, bike or motor bike?
Please say it's a 'motorbike'...
'Cause I'm hoping to do more biking myself this summer!
28/Apr/15 12:49 AM
I'm off to sort through totes and hopefully achieve more order around here. Does anyone other than me here that clock ticking away?
28/Apr/15 12:50 AM
Hope hubby heals quickly, Shosho! Glad you landed on your number!
28/Apr/15 12:52 AM
Tick-Tock! Tick-Tock!
I went through my linen closet this weekend and the Purple Heart truck is here right now!
28/Apr/15 12:55 AM
Happy Monday!

Shiela, if you don't try to compete with every hotdogger on a bike, you'll be fine! Serena, telling him to do another activity would literally fall on deaf ears! (he'd just take off his hearing aids!)
28/Apr/15 1:18 AM
Is that like every man's dream, Shosho? To be able to literally and legally deafen himself and not listen? Snicker! (KIDDING, Guys!)

Good morning people of the world.

Very slow in progress this morning after a night of not sleeping. Actually got into bed before midnight, only to wish I had a cast iron pan or bat with me. Finally got Man quiet and a restless child joins us. Normally I can rub this girl's hand or play with her hair to calm her down, but just as I More...

After a while, I do not if sleep took over, but the other child joined us, with a few of her friends. Man was already hanging on to the edge of the bed and I was hanging off my side, because the all legs child was spread eagle style across the bed, I made room for the other child and her friends. Makes one wonder why we wasted money on two other beds. Around 4 AM, I hear, 'Mom. MOM!' I guess I answered because next came, 'I cannot find Rabbit.' My response, 'Give me a minute and I will get her.' Thankfully, when I turned over Rabbit was right there, staring me in the face. If I could see at that time of the morning it probably would have scared me.

Needless to say, our Monday morning was not a speedy one and we missed our bus, so off to the second stop. Came home and rejoined my pillows, unfortunately the loud sleeper joined me too. So the plan for just an hour nap, turned into a much longer one.

Had a panic awakening of not getting the girls up for school. That thought cleared, then another panic of not getting my offering out for my favorite men of the week. Thankfully, they do not come when they say they will be here

Serena, I do hear that clock, and I too, am going through totes, but for an entirely different reason. 25 years ago, it was for your reason, though. Where does the time go????

CG, I have lost the ability to copy and paste my answers from Word, and i was too lazy to type them out. I got 10 outright. Colon and colony would have made you chuckle. I got shaving, read the I HAVE a dream speech several times, just didn't get it. My search for the abbreviation for United More...

Today is my brother's birthday. I did get a card in the mail. Now to call with some singing.

And finish my CP with a promise to head off to pack...after I arrange for my malpractice insurance.
28/Apr/15 2:55 AM
Way to go, Sarah Beth! I don't have time for a CP - I hear kids headed down the hall.

Guess the ski season is over this year in Austria.
28/Apr/15 3:09 AM
, y'all! A little slow at 2:20...I've not been zippy lately for whatever reason.
28/Apr/15 3:56 AM
Greg, I opted not to revisit your puzzle, even after the hint/comments yesterday. I won't be using the term 'pounce' in place of 'talon' any time soon... no one outside of this forum would probably know what I was talking about! I'd never heard the word used that way before.

After running 3 days (maybe 4, who knows?) last week, I'll re-start with weights tonight. I've missed the fitness routine.

Had a great weekend in the mountains with cousins and a couple who are friends of one of them. Great pork BBQ, and the guests (including SilverFamily) made all the sides. No work for my 87-yr old mom-in-law.
