"It's so nice to have you back where you belong!"

Good Morning Worldly People.
03/Apr/09 12:00 AM
Hi VV bit late(been gardening) but the renovations have come to a standstill, again, surprise surprise. I am occupying myself sourcing new items to sell and stocking up the shop.
03/Apr/09 12:01 AM
I have had to give up digging holes for planting, and raking and hoeing as what I assume is a return of tendonitis is raging in my wrists. Even typing this is agony.

OK..alphabet of the day "W"..
Whisk: One of a number of exercise devices used by sedentary cooks to develop muscles and improve body tone. Other items of workout equipment found in kitchens include
#The egg beater (strengthens pectorals),
#The cheese grater (enlarges triceps), and
#The salad spinner (firms up deltoids).

GannieMo, you poor thing! Ice and rest, GMo! And learning not to overdo. Have you tried a wrist splint?
03/Apr/09 12:13 AM
Tomorrow it must be "X", but the dictionary doesnt have any entry in that category..but I am sure you all can provide some, which can be more fun..
03/Apr/09 12:15 AM
"X" marks the spot on the kitchen where I WON'T be!
03/Apr/09 12:22 AM
X = eggs
03/Apr/09 12:22 AM
03/Apr/09 12:23 AM
(...'in' the kitchen...)
03/Apr/09 12:23 AM
I like Shiela's definition. The X room. Yep, works for me.
03/Apr/09 12:25 AM
Hmmmm...as in 'x-pect you to be in the kitchen'?
03/Apr/09 12:25 AM
Please, Shiela get real--X as in symbol of poisionous room, beware, do not enter.
03/Apr/09 12:27 AM
And Kathy's x-onerated from having to be there due to extreme pregnancy?
03/Apr/09 12:27 AM
I mean, x-treme...
03/Apr/09 12:28 AM
Is Kathy pregnant also? Does she know? OH how exciting when she finds out the news and she is able to join Jill and me.

03/Apr/09 12:30 AM

03/Apr/09 12:32 AM
See what I mean???
03/Apr/09 12:33 AM
Are your really going to X out of this room, when you are so close?
03/Apr/09 12:33 AM
Well! I got SOMETHING right!
03/Apr/09 12:33 AM
But you did it. Happy Day to Shiela.

03/Apr/09 12:34 AM
And out I go! Have a great day everyone!
03/Apr/09 12:34 AM
I am going away for a bit too. Need to finish what you started yesterday, Shiela. Really, next time you make a suggestion, suggest a nap please. Laundry is so not fun.
03/Apr/09 12:35 AM
Looks like I've missed Shiela. But in case she looks in, I am wearing a wrist splint. You think yhou have trouble typing! It certainly doesn't help. Think I'll go see what daytime tele has to offer - can't do much else

3:07 No comment on the picture?
It's the the Grand Trianon, Versailles, France. But I, unfortunately, have never been there, so it's not my picture.
03/Apr/09 12:59 AM
Oh gee, just missed her. I need to cry on my preggy buddy's shoulder and she is folding laundry. As if a pair of socks are more important!
03/Apr/09 1:04 AM
Oh sorry, didn't mean to be a wet blanket.
Good Maen Sudokuland!
03/Apr/09 1:05 AM
Geez Shiela! My heart can't take that kind of shock in the morning!!!
Sorry, Karen, you and Jill are definitely waddling down the "prego road" alone! NO NO NO NO!!!
I must go find oxygen......

Tick tock tick tock ...

One year ago, I told you all a story about my gramma (age 90 at the time) bar hopping and falling on some ice and breaking her ankle. I just want you all to know that tomorrow she turns 91. She is still living in the north woods on her own, walks mostly unassisted (sometimes with a cane or More...

Good morning everyone, lovely gray and rainy day here.
03/Apr/09 1:41 AM
Things in my neck of the woods are going slowly with lots of road bumps. As many of you know, my middle child was diagnosed with Asperger's this winter. While it does not change who he is, it does mean things have changed at school. Prayers and well wishes and fingers crossed for everything to go in his favor in the upcoming weeks.

My youngest still struggles with his CP, though I work with him daily. Kindergarten has him just tuckered out by the end of the day, but I fit in some stretching anyways.

My oldest is so ready for summer so she can get out of the house! Softball is right around the corner!
