3:06 Is the lady one of our sudoku players?
Good Maen Enjoy the holiday weekend and if it is not a holiday, enjoy anyways.
The store front looks kind of British, but it's hard to make out the writing. Nice dress...
Good maen All
2:39 - good morning all.
Good morning world. Looks like a beautiful day for tennis with Andre. Football later, what a nice way to spend the day. Congtratulations to Cathy on the birth of her grandchild.
Good Day. Life is about the journey not the destination. Enjoy the trip. Japan looks lovely.
Good Maen and Labor Day weekend -- did great on the puzzle considering we did a 6 hour session of line dance fun with Scooter Lee (national country western singer) yesterday, about 150 of us. We were mostly 'mature' (over 50) dancers so that's pretty good. Anybody else out there into line dancing???
Hey y'all! Looks like a dreary one today...compliments of Ernesto I think. Thanks a lot! It is the last Sunday of my holidays!!!! Boo Hiss! I was hoping for boating weather.

Is it Labour Day in Australia too? We have a holiday tomorrow (our Monday)...are you all off today (your Monday)?
to Lisa - in West Australia we celebrate Labour Day early in March. I don't think our other states celebrate it at the same time.
3:09 such a blur picture :(
what does maen mean? cute shop woman looks to be on holiday
Beth: maen is an acronym for morning, afternoon, evening, night. It wishes everyone a good day no matter what time zone they are in. Capitalize the time of day it is where you are.

4:43 Good Maen everyone!
Call me ignorant; does Canada celebrate Labor Day on Monday too?
2:55 Hi to all and Happy Labor Day/Weekend.

Thought for the Day:

To be in your children's memories tomorrow... You have to be in their lives today.
Vice presidents and personnel directors of the one hundred largest corporations were asked to describe their most unusual experience interviewing prospective employees. Here are the results !
A job applicant challenged the interviewer to an arm wrestle.
Interviewee wore a Walkman, explaining More...
maen= morning, afternoon, evening and night - put in the capital for your time zone.
To JH: Yes, we celebrate Labour Day, and yes, this is a long weekend! However, the tail-end of Ernesto has brought us rain for the last 16 hours and no end in sight for the holiday Monday.
This is attributed to Will Rogers:

First ~ Eventually you will reach a point when you stop lying about your age and start bragging about it.

Second ~ The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

Third ~ Some people try More...

Have not commented for a while, but see where you are at. Any comments on the Illinois football season? I am a transplant. Not as many of us Illini fans as the others as I read through the comments each day.

American football. I know that it is not the true world football as some would describe it, but it is quite a popular sport here in the USA.

A Maen to everyone.
To Mamacita2: I guess you are still having problems with your supporting member account. These are for you until you can pick your own smiles:
Mamacita2 - You want to play tennis with me?? lol its raining but I am up for it anyway!

Congratulations Cathy on your new grandchild x
unlike western or japanese products which are sleek and trendy ,the russian products are bulky and designed with not much of esthetic sense..but they are no doubt precise and funtional..just look at this..you can know better..
In the late 1980s, a man is waiting for the train in Europe. Another More...
Looks like a zoom in to a small part of a much larger picture. I hope we get told, sometime today who it is.
Is it just me? I've just tried to do the jigsaw of this picture and the pieces are so tiny I couldn't see them. I hope it's a technical problem and not my eyesight!
Jane, I get the same on the jigsaw.

Cathy, congrats on your new family member.

Andre is currently down a set and hanging in there in the second. Becker is pretty good. Andre looks a little stiff. I think his back is limiting his movement.
Good Maen everyone...have a wonderful day...
Greg, the picture was perfectly clear to me....
Football, Tennis and Golf and I have to work. Must sneak back to the motorhome to catch up on all.
Canuk Gregg, Thank you for being so sweet and sending me all of the goodies. Hope I get straighten out soon so I can play too. Andre: rotf....sure wish I could play tennis with anybody, but I'll make myself content watching the other Andre do a good job of trying. I think Keith is right about his back bothering him.
thank u for explaining mAen happy labor day
Chalkboard: you've gotta love Will Rogers!
Andre: what a poignant thought; unfortunately too few parents are ivolved enough these days. Mine are a little too old to apply now, but I was always there for them; now I'll wait for grandchildren! (n time soon; my son just got married in July!)
Hope everyone has a great extended weekend. mAen all.
Anyone who can see well enough to finish this jigsaw puzzle has my total admiration for having such good eyes.
To Cyndi, Jane and Keith: Agree. I think Gath is pulling our leg(s). Toughest Jigsaw puzzle I've seen on this site sine I got addicted to doing them!
Andre gave a very moving retirement speech. What a wonderful person.
The end of a wonderful career in tennis! Andre went from an emotional brat to a truely wonderful tennis champion. His emotional good-by was very touching amid much deserved support. Thanks Andre for 21 years of tennis that was fun to watch. Is Ben Becker related to Boris Becker?
