That extra hour was nice this morning, not fond of it getting dark so early, though.

I don't know why we can't do away with time changes altogether. This hits the nail on the head....

''Daylight Savings time is the practice of adjusting clocks one hour to make it easier for people in 1918 to tend their crops''.

Everybody!! Aah, first day of bye, bye daylight savings time. Boo, as not able to sleep extra hour. Maybe tonight?

Risqué, maybe a little Risky, but I’ll take a chance… (Actually I'm ''going out on a limb'', here.)

The Husband Store

A store that sells new husbands has opened in Nashville, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how More...

Just to show that I believe in equality -

To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.

The First Floor has wives that love six.

The Second Floor has wives that love six and have money and like beer.

The Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Floors have never been visited.

Just back from Perth after 4 days attending to Dad's needs. Took him out for lunch at Dome where in the end I had to tell him most things on the menu were unavailable just to narrow down the choices and get him to make a decision. Not only that but I had to telephone his boss to More...

dad's Gopher or mobility scooter. Following that I have the pleasure of visiting the fang farrier . Just a check up but I do know that I have one tooth causing a problem. Hey, at least I still have some teeth

Hi all! Woke up early as usual had a sunny day but not very warm ... leaves are all over except on trees...grass fully covered by them until winds decide to change the game...I had a nice walk watching nature playing in colors. I have to go to bed earlier tonight...it will take me few days to adjust time changed. Good day or night all

Arachnid, It is good to see that you can still enjoy your father's company although he is showing strong evidence of dementia. I haven't had family in that state, but on one occasion when our car club was taking a group of seniors for a run and barbecue, an elderly gentleman insisted on sitting More...

I am grateful that my father's dementia never put him into non-reality. He had trouble remembering the end of his sentences, sometimes could not remember what he wanted to say, did not remember what he just ate or even that he just ate, but he was never in another world. We were blessed, too, that he never forgot who he was or who we were.

everyone dear friends enjoy your time

Thanks Sarah and Wombat. Dad does have trouble recognizing his grandchildren but at the moment my sister and I are still 'in the loop'. He does repeatedly ask the same questions and has an obsession with some things, i.e. nail scissors. The joke I keep hearing (and humour is the only way to keep More...

My grandmother did forget everything and almost everyone. She was startled when I identified myself as her granddaughter. Although I was sitting between my parents during this introduction, she was surprised to learn that her son was married, flabbergasted that I was his daughter. When my brother More...

Know the feeling Sarah. Dad told the medical staff his brother (me!!) would be visiting. He also refused to believe the staff when they told him he was 97. The great joy is that when his young great grandchildren are around and playing together he gets immense joy from watching them. He does tend to get a bit teary when they come up and hug him or tell him they love him
