Good Maen Sudokuland and Shiela!
05/Feb/09 12:04 AM
Very vibrant colors this morning. All I see out my window is white, white and more white.
05/Feb/09 12:07 AM
Here also, vibrant white is the colour of the day.
05/Feb/09 12:10 AM
Good morning, Shiela, Jill, and Rayray!

05/Feb/09 12:12 AM
Here the sky is still very dark. The sun will not rise for another hour. But hopefully we will get some rain as forecasted.
05/Feb/09 12:13 AM
Yes, Jill, beautiful colors/colours today! We need a little color other than white outside our doors! Even the animal coming to my bird feeder two days in a row (in the afternoon, no less!) is almost white... an opossum!
05/Feb/09 12:14 AM
Will not be in class where life is interesting if not verging frantic. Will have to be in a meeting where I will desperately imbibe coffee for the caffeine!
05/Feb/09 12:15 AM
Good morning rayray & Shosho!
05/Feb/09 12:15 AM
Good morning all! Cold this morning, 0F. The cold is sweeping the south which is still reeling from the ice/snow storms. Warm thoughts to Heidi in Kentucky who is still without power and has lost some of her animals on her farm. Also to those in Queensland who are underwater from the cyclone. Thoughts and prayers to Susan with flood waters in her house!

2:20 Hi to all. Snowy but sunny (if the weather was a fried egg it would be sunny side up).

Thought for the Day:

It began in mystery, and it will end in mystery, but what a savage and beautiful country lies in between.

In my corner of Ohio, last month was the snowiest January on record. At this rate, February intends to follow suit! No wonder that poor groundhog dove for cover!

I think I am suffering from reverse morning sickness. In the morning I am so hungry I need to eat every hour. By about 2 o'clock, it wears off. Then by supper time I am lucky if I can stomach even 1/4 of my meal. So far today I have had a bowl of oatmeal, a bowl of kid cereal (the good sugary More...

Idle musing - 'Going to work on an egg' was an advertising slogan used here in the 1950's. The campaign was banned because eating an egg for breakfast every day was not considered a “varied diet”. I think Humpty Dumpty might have something to say about that. Thankfully my egg won't start this morning so I will have to use my car.
05/Feb/09 12:34 AM
Hmmm, André's fried egg is sounding good! I also remembered how to make an é!
05/Feb/09 12:37 AM
Do you have any toast André? I have some delicious homemade strawberry jam!
05/Feb/09 12:38 AM
All right All right, I am going to the k-room. Don't go to 22 without me!
05/Feb/09 12:40 AM
Jill you can have my égg if you want, it is french so I eggspect it will tres jolie x
05/Feb/09 12:41 AM
Glinda has toast Jill and she is most agreeable.

There should have been a 'be' before tres jolie.

Idle musing 2: Say have you ever been bitten by a bee?
05/Feb/09 12:45 AM
Merci, André. I lucked out. There was some leftover homemade bread from last night to slide under the strawberry Jam!
05/Feb/09 12:45 AM
Could not get to sleep so thought I would catch up with what everyone was doing. Bit early for 'Humptys". Might have one later.
05/Feb/09 12:46 AM
back to bed I think
05/Feb/09 12:47 AM
nice splash of color, esp as it seems everyone so far is looking out by back room window on the white world outside my home.
05/Feb/09 12:47 AM
My apologies to everyone on yesterday's page 4 who are dieting. I can keep my mouth shut now that I have it stuffed with toast!
05/Feb/09 12:49 AM
Congrats on 22, June!
05/Feb/09 12:52 AM
Good morning. Toast is always a good thing. andrewithanaccent, um, trying so very hard to restrain myself, but is your egg a four-door or a hatchback?
05/Feb/09 12:54 AM
Anyone who has tried some of today's other puzzles might notice a strong floral theme. Do you think it is Gath's way of sending a little sunshine to those struggling with weather related calamities?
05/Feb/09 1:01 AM
Time for me to shed the jammies and layer up for today's adventure to Mommy and Me soccer class. Good Day to All!
05/Feb/09 1:03 AM
Jill He just came out to check the ladies then jumped back in lol
05/Feb/09 1:22 AM
Nice color to get me through all this white...
05/Feb/09 1:38 AM
2:15 Good evening all.
Very pretty photo today.
It seems the "cat" theme of old has been replaced with a "flower" theme these days.
05/Feb/09 1:42 AM
Hi, everyone! Brilliant sunshine here this morning, but the strong winds will make it uncomfortable for biking today. We're supposed to get sub-freezing temps tonight, so we'll have to cover our tender vegetation. I'm just glad we don't get snow! If I can't get out to ride my bike or play tennis regularly, I suffer from "cabin fever".
05/Feb/09 1:47 AM
Anne, the flowers are a refreshing change from the cats. But just in case anyone suffers from "cat withdrawal", I've just posted a couple of pictures of Twinky, our little Manx kitty, in my gallery.

Beautiful sunny day here, but a water main up the street broke earlier so there's a river flowing down the road. Now we have no water, but thankfully I had the foresight to fill the coffee maker earlier because a dear friend is stopping by. Sheesh.
05/Feb/09 1:52 AM
Good morning Worldly People--Chilly this morning but should be short weather this afternoon.

Jill--I am starving this morning.
05/Feb/09 1:52 AM
Cathy - Brilliant move! I don't think I could survive the morning without my coffee!
05/Feb/09 1:54 AM
I have read some news, read and responded to emails, read the rest of yesterdays posts and caught up on this mornings happenings and there still no coffee.

I have learned if you press the on button it helps to prepare the coffee. Hope this is not an omen for the day.
05/Feb/09 1:54 AM
Good morning, Karen! I'll send you some of my Grand Marnier French toast.
05/Feb/09 1:55 AM
But you can't have my coffee! (At least not until I've awakened!)
05/Feb/09 1:56 AM
I slept too late for 22, but maybe....
