1:48. Whoa! Some fireworks! Good Morning Denny, mymare, Shiela and to all yet to arrive. Hope your day is a good one?

As Sarah mentioned, we had at least one tornado in our area yesterday. We are fine, but there was quite a bit of destruction within a few miles of us. A lot of clean-up is going on today. No lives were lost, thank goodness, but there were many trees down and homes damaged. Oddly enough, we never lost power, although they did just a few blocks away. I am feeling pretty lucky today.

I tested positive for RSV and I’m contagious for ten days. Guess I won’t be getting any visitors or visiting my Aunt on Saturday.

have been to the city, Adelaide, South Australia, for a few days for a few celebrations. Our 21 y o grand daughter hired a town hall & organised a Masked Ball/ Party. Lots of fun & a lovely way of bringing family & friends together. Then our youngest daughter turned 30 y o so more celebrations. & then her lovely new husband from India started a wonderful new job. & then we helped them move into a great new apartment. and by the way, my husband turned 80 last week ! Hard to believe as he is very fit and still works part time ( because he loves his job, and his employers love him :) Had no time for sudoku!

After four absolutely beautiful days from Friday to Monday, with not a single cloud in the sky but very cold nights/mornings for Albany with chunks of ice falling off my patio roof, we're back to a cooler winter weather during the day. My daughter and her husband who are staying with me are really feeling the cold as they live up north in the hot weather.

or G'day About virus. In Canada we have to deal with influenza (the flu) and Covid-19 virus. RSV is not yet present in Canada that I know of. But if it is present down under, it means there is a possibility of reaching us by fall or winter, our usual time for the flu.
