Tricolored Heron (Egretta tricolor) In Everglades National Park Shark Valley Slough

I rode my bike around the 17-mile long, flat-as-a-pancake Shark Valley Trail, which is a paved single-lane road that only park vehicles (including the tram ride) are allowed on. There I saw this Tricolored Heron. It is told from the Little Blue Heron by its much longer and skinnier neck and 3-color pattern. March 6, 2009, Canon SX110IS
