Anhinga and Double-Crested Cormorant

In Everglades National Park, a double-crested cormorant and anhinga were in the same tree, giving a chance to see the differences in the similar species. The anhinga (on left) has a longer neck, pointy beak, and much blacker color. The Cormorant's neck is shorter and thicker, its beak has a hook on the end, and it is more grey than black.
