Manatee in the Florida Keys

I spotted this manatee grazing along the north end of the old 7-mile bridge on Marathon Key, Florida. The poor quality of this image induced me to buy a new camera, but seeing the animal was quite a thrill.

Had to look up Manatee - interesting creatures, related to elephants! Great to get a shot of such an unusual animal!
