Will Makes His Only Visit to Old Busch Stadium in 2005

My son Will made his only trip to Old Busch Stadium in its last year, 2005. I recall going there the first month it opened in 1966. Heck, I remember going to the park BEFORE Old Busch Stadium, Sportsman's Park in 1965. You know you are a grown up when your hometown demolishes a second stadium so a team can build a third one in your lifetime.

I was in St. Louis - once - only for a few hours. St. Louis was on a tear and only 1 game behind the Dodger (in first place) - we watched Padres win the game. Dodger went on to win the National League in 1963 - but also beat the Yanks in 4 straight.
