Everglades Deer

On my March 6, 2009 solo bike ride in Everglades National Park, I saw this deer, about 50 feet away or so, on the other side of a canal. As I was focusing, I coughed ever so quietly. But it was enough to catch its attention. We eyed each other for a moment, then the animal went back to feeding.
