Grant's Cabin at Grant's Farm

U.S. Grant lived in the St. Louis area before he became famous as Civil War General and later President of the United States. He built this cabin in the 1840s, though it was moved to its current site. Grants Farm, A St. Louis attraction, is an AZA accredited zoo, a Clydsdale horse breeding farm, a National Historic Site, as well as the private residence of Anheuser-Busch CEO August Busch III. His mansion is considerably larger than Grant's Cabin- though both are off-limits to visitors.
