In February 2008 a madman burst into Kirkwood, Missouri, USA's City Hall and started killing. Kirkwood was my childhood home, my parents lived there till they died, and I still have friends there. Even from 1200 miles away, the shots rang home: Some of the dead were friends of my parents, people that I knew. The moral of the story is: It can happen anywhere, anytime, and YOUR community, YOUR business, YOUR school need to have a plan for the unspeakable things in life.
