Today's tough puzzle includes excellent examples of short Forbidding Chains, or Alternating Inference Chains. Naturally, I could
not resist blogging this one.

A link to this page will be available through the link in the upper right column, directly under 'Check out the Sudoku Blog'.

The new page should be available about 1 hour after the new day here at sudoku.com.au.

Is this a photo GannieMo may have taken. Good old Perth, Western Australia on the map with the Swan River running through the middle. Great photo.

Not too hard but a challenge. lots of givens and reduceables. A couple of bivalue chain reductions and then I got lucky, I did a chain that went to every cell so every candidate in the chain was correct. Another excellent airplane photo. I don't think I've flown since owning a digital camera :(

Hi everyone. Yes Anne, I did take this one as we left Perth and headed for Bali.
I also took the one of the cloud shown on Saturday last. The funnel of cloud was forming as we flew over Java on our way from Bali to Singapore. To avoid any reflections turn off any flash on the camera.
Someone asked what camera? Both pictures and the one of the wave breaking were taken with an HP707 photosmart

Nice Photo GannieMo.
The two Bridges over the Canning River.. The bigger Bridge is Leach Highway, and the smaller Bridge is Shelley Bridge. Nice picnic area between the two bridges on the river foreshore.
The Bridge in the top left distance is Mt Henry Bridge.
