Hi JC, you could manage without '[and b4<>9]', if you include in your chain, after e9=9,'a9=6=b4', with the same result.

I had to look it up!

I knew only another meaning:
a line or barrier of exploding artillery shells, created by the co-ordinated aiming of a large number of guns firing continuously.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, in such a case, the length of the chain is increased to 13 :(
Reviewing the chain and leaving it as it is, I manage to reduce the length to 11 by replacing the 589 in column h by the cells More...
