I just dont understand people love of golf, I can see no point in chasing a little ball round a paddock all morning, then picking it up and taking it home! All to their own I suppose.

It gives them something to think about while getting fresh air, Lizzy. Golf carts preclude any real exercise.

I'm back from doing a good deed.... helping a friend rescue a former horse of hers that ended up in a bad home. It ended up being quite the adventure, but we had a fun time.

I used to enjoy golf a lot. It is a very challenging precision game of coordination and concentration. Leave the cart at the clubhouse. Walking is great exercise. I haven't played it in years, though.

Nick Clegg walked into a branch of a major bank in the UK to cash a cheque. As he approached the cashier he said 'Good morning, could you please cash this cheque for me'?

Cashier: 'It would be my pleasure Sir. Could you please show me your ID?'

Clegg: 'Well I didn’t bring my ID with More...

Hey! No googling was necessary! Process of elimination, my dear Woofy. I REMEMBER The Flying Saucer. I bet others would too (well, depending upon your age), if they heard it. Funny novelty song. The deal then was to identify the songs interspersed. My best friend at the time was Lou GoodWIN. That jogged my memory. I am an honest OLD OLDIE!

Oh, sorry. I forgot while clearing my good name.

before I give him my answer.'

Edna: 'Well, I'll tell you. He shows up at my apartment More...

I think that last time I went golfing was with my dad. He was stuck with me for the day because mom went to visit her family. So there I was about three and the club was bigger than me! Dad took a picture of me, thought it was hilarious.

The golf course near Kyoto is interesting. There is one shot that you make to go over a hill. Perpendicular to your shot that hill is cut in half for a road. So if your shot is a little short, you bonk a motorist if he is driving a convertible!

Doug W, thank you for the new word - leepy - it's definitely going to be a well used word as we all at one time or another seem to have that problem! Well, speaking for myself, too often!
