The sunrise/sunset pictures are still one of my favorites.

So, I thought of drum, but couldn’t find any connection between rum and Bundy. 2 should have been obvious, I just missed it. 3 also. 4, 30259 threw me, though I should have thought of Lee Majors.

West coast sunset ... or East coast sunrise? I'll go with sunset.

Well I guess that is wrong there are 4 birthdays being celebrated today, all the July Birthdays. A nieces husband has his day today, then one birthday next week then one the next.

Had another one of those inane thoughts again. Am I insane? (Please, do not feel obligated to answer that question).
Anyway, while enjoying, my late start, coffee on the patio this morning, the thought was, 'this would a be good time to clean the patio.' As in soap, water and scrubbing the More...

Advice for Sarah, from DC.
First, that is wonderful your parents will so close. My mom, was just 25 minutes away, but there were days that trip took forever.
Anyway, my advice, from someone who recently has packed my mother's belongings, and my own, you do not need the stuff. More...

SLAP! SLAP! SLAP! for me. I not only wrote it wrong once, but three times.... Wright instead of Webber. I didn't even realize it until Grass-hopper mentioned both names. DUH!

On the bright side, everyone answering had that set of clues correct! Sorry Peter!

Beautiful picture, especially the silhouette of the bird against the dark blue sky. Too bad it's yet another jigsaw that can't be completed in the frame.

As an avid procrastinator, I will do anything to avoid what I should be doing.

Even, taking a man's favorite number.

I am trying (not so successfully) to prepare for our trip. Will I be ready by Monday? Not if I spend such a long time trying to figure out Mr. Cee's poozle! I promised myself I wouldn't do that today. Like that worked.
I'm sending him my answers, then I HAVE to get busy here!

Am going to farmers market soon. Have to get some fresh veggies for tomorrow. Son and wife with the newest member of our family will be over. I plan to make teriyaki chicken with pineapple, brown rice, and broccoli salad. And for desert fruit shortcake! My favorite is strawberries but plan to make blueberry ones and cherry ones!.

The answer to 7 ended up making perfect sense. In retrospect I remember making a mental chain of associations that had led me wordlessly to pitch. If only I had not skimmed over it, I would have gotten the answer. It went: tar, tar pits, ice age, Abraham and the tar pits, post-flood, Flood, More...

If only I had as much discipline with practical matters. Alas, I am a thinker by preference, a doer only by necessity.

Bay Area Fox affiliate KTVU purportedly learned the names of the flight crew of Asiana flight 214, which crashed last Saturday at San Francisco International Airport, killing two. These—'Sum Ting Wong,' 'Wi Tu Lo,' 'Ho Lee Fuk,' and 'Bang Ding Ow'—are not their names. The newscaster's credulous More...

14/Jul/13 8:23 AM
Oh my! We are still on P.1.
I guess everyone else was joining me in failing to answer Mr Cee's poozles.
Yes there are 2 of them!
14/Jul/13 8:29 AM
Multitude of clues but....

14/Jul/13 8:33 AM
Happy Saturday!
14/Jul/13 8:55 AM
Good morning all. Windy and rainy here today. River flood alerts - generally a miserable day.
14/Jul/13 9:01 AM
I scanned Mr Cee's puzzle last night and not 1 thought came to light that suggested an answer!
14/Jul/13 9:02 AM
I'm not too sure if I'll get to it today. Any way we'll see.
Enjoy your day everyone.
