everyone! And HalT!
It didn't freeze last night, but it hit 39F. We took our plants inside anyway. I think we'll get to plant soon. It's supposed to warm up a bit today.

We have 9 flats of bedding plants we've been waiting to plant. Hate to have to replace them as we did one year on May 30th. So, we wait until the threat of frost is unlikely.

Rained heavily on my way to school this morning and now it's sunny. We expect rain for the next week again.

Please, Wolf - do not mention rain for this weekend! It's Indy 500 weekend!

What Do Retired People Do All Day?
Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting.
Well for example, the other day Linda and I went into town and went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a cop writing More...

Chilly here. Yesterday my house was warm enough to just wear a sweatshirt. Today I had to put the heat back on. Fortunately, it's not running a lot, but I need to get the chill out. The heat will be on at least through tomorrow, but then we're supposed to warm up again.

Keith - Good luck with your aFib. Like Judy, I'm surprised they didn't start a medication, but maybe you started that previously.

1:17. Good morning everyone.
21/May/15 6:45 AM

Right you are, Dottie, I'm already on medications for high blood pressure and high cholesterol, and since the A=Fib got diagnosed, I've switched from a low dose aspirin to one of the newer blood thinners (Xaralto). For now, that seems to have it covered.

Well saw the radiologist and we're in for a looooonnnnng treatment. Two months, 5 days a week radiation. Oh boy. The Kaiser center that has the facility for hubby's treatment is 25 miles away. Not bad but with traffic, one to two hour drive.
21/May/15 8:23 AM
 |  |

And that was just one way. But if we work it just right, we might be able to schedule in a vacation.
21/May/15 8:24 AM
 |  |

Today we started the treatment with hormonal shot to the derriere. Now we have a seven week wait to starve the prostate gland before starting the radiation.
21/May/15 8:27 AM
 |  |

Doctor warned him of the side effect of the shot, like hot flashes. I assured hubby that I was an expert on the subject. He looked at me rather warily.
