Along with Dottie - Merry Christmas to all! We are leaving early in the morning for New Mexico, and we will have little or no internet access. I may not be back before New Year.

This is our first Christmas in the new house it took awhile to get everything moved over here. I never want to move again this was # 19.
So much has changed in our lives this past year, the move of course. Then Kevin got married [for the first] in November.

Hello, Sue - are you Sue from OK, since I recall you were moving ages ago - where is or maybe the question should be - what is 'The Vista' Actually, I'm trying to remember where you moved - Arkansas maybe?

Nice to have you reappear during holiday time when many others seems to be popping back to leave a greeting.

Judy, Sarah, Peter and Joyce are my Quicktionary 'Snow Angels' this week. They joined my family and myself in preparing four lists for our holiday pleasure. Warning: you may gain 10 pounds just reading our list for (1).

(1) Give me a word that is associated with traditional holiday More...

Like Joyce, I decided Sue had to be Sue from OK in her new home not in Oklahoma. Welcome back to the comments, Sue!

Joyce, Sarah, yes it is in Arkansas, make sure you pronounce it Ar kan saw. They really don't like it when people say it is Ar Kansas. Having been from Kansas it is hard for me. I was taught if it was Kansas then it was Ar Kansas. There are towns in Kansas where you call the river Ar Kansas not At kan saw.
Confusing you bet.

Happy Friday even though braving the shopping malls to pick up a few more presents.
Plum: I had a tough time with your #2 Quicktionary,
but planned on submitting for 1) Turkey and Wassail, and 3) my homemade Peanut Brittle and Cookies.
It was a treat to see what others came up with, so maybe I'll try again for the next one...

Aileen, I would love to have you join us! The reason I post three sets is that there's no way of knowing how hard a set is going to be until several of us come at it from various angles. I figure at least one of the three will resonate with any particular solver. So, some people add many unique More...

That said, Aileen, Wassail doesn't work as a valid answer because it has an L and the rule was 'No L.' But I still can't believe I didn't even think of it. But (1) Turkey and (3) [Peanut] Brittle and Cookies all get added to the lists.
