Rage & everyone!
Not sunny today.
But we enjoyed the sunshine yesterday by going for a hike in the woods.

Our 'sometimes' calico cat I wrote about last fall is visiting today. She stayed away all winter and this is the second time she's dropped by. She always seems to want to stay and we have to boot her out at the end of the day. She likes our chipmunks.

My sunny good morning is a little premature, or, wishful thinking. We have rain in the forecast for the next several days.

How nice to see Grass-hopper dropping by!

And Arachnid posted a puzzle?
Sending every good wish I can that your Dad is okay, Arachnid.

Good morning all and hello to Rage, Shiela, Denny, & Kathy; thanks to Kathy, she caught us up with things missed from yesterday's collection of sparse posts!

Good mAen from Texas - just passed noon, and I am ready for the kids to descend on me momentarily.

Good mAen, good people. 5% battery so a quick hello. Travel went very well. Now I'm trying to make a master TO DO list with my new Trello download. We seem to have outgrown paper and pencil.

An Arachnid poozle? I need to catch up here. I'm behind two Wombat poozles. I will have time late tomorrow as Burl heads the night shift at the wood fire kiln this weekend.

Morning all, a very wet Anzac Day for the dawn service.
My Dad was born on this day in 1922, he would have been 96 today.

I have a fond memory of watching sunrise at Uluru on Anzac Day in 2009 ... a moving experience.

It was a beautiful, but slightly chilly, morning in Canberra for the dawn service. As always it was very moving. I've just got home and, sitting here eating my breakfast, I can't help but reflect on conflicts past and present when so, so many who fought to give us that luxury have not been so lucky.

Puzzle post was a bit late yesterday so here it is again for those interested.

I'm sorry but I've got Dad in hospital so I haven't been able to make this quiz as 'professional' as I would like. Mr Google can help you with the answers and I will try better for the next one!! More...

all! Can't wait to try Arachnid's puzzle. Finger's crossed for your dad Arachnid. 🤞 🤞

Thank you for all your kind remarks regarding Dad. He is 96 so its a case of managing issues as they arise. I think I gave him problems for the first twenty years of my life and now is his turn to repay the debt!! I see I have some quiz responses and will get to them as soon as I can
