A Thought For The Day:

It's sad when a magician needs to sneeze but he can't get his hankie out because it's too damn long.

good morning all

Back at ya Dave from all one of us.
30/Jan/14 12:01 AM
Hi, guys!
Sun's just peeping out!
Still c-c-cold here at -3F. Brrrrrr!
30/Jan/14 12:17 AM
The stars are out and it is 24*c here Shiela. I have to play in a lawn bowls competition today which will mean standing in the sun for three hours. Will probably be around the 30*c mark by then! What a pity we cannot average the temps.
30/Jan/14 12:31 AM
Wouldn't that be perfect, June!
Don't envy you today... drink lots of fluids!
30/Jan/14 12:33 AM
51°F here this morning, and the drizzle continues, which is really good news.
30/Jan/14 12:34 AM
On second though... 75F - 85F doesn't sound too bad!
30/Jan/14 12:36 AM
Good to hear, Keith!
30/Jan/14 12:37 AM
all.
30/Jan/14 12:41 AM
Frustrating to see those two bewigged people come into view and then find 'no comment'!!!
Guess we'll have to make up something!
'Prince Valiant and Annie Engaged', maybe?
30/Jan/14 12:47 AM
They are wigs?
30/Jan/14 12:49 AM
Nice hair.

Each group of definitions describes three words that are spelled the same, except for one letter (each group describes a different set of words). Example: king, ring, wing.

1) a type of riding whip & a padded bed coverlet & free from noise
2) a path in the woods & a connected series & a More...

I think we need a sudoku scale of temperatures that converts celcius and farenheit to something we all understand!
30/Jan/14 1:32 AM
Due to Judy harassment, I found some bullets. So, perhaps there's a movement in your near future.
30/Jan/14 2:22 AM
And, while I'm in the area ...
30/Jan/14 2:22 AM
Anybody coming with me?
30/Jan/14 2:23 AM
Like Karen says, you know I won't wait.
30/Jan/14 2:23 AM

30/Jan/14 2:23 AM
Pounce.

Good morning to all! Is this supposed to indicate what a bad hair day is?
30/Jan/14 2:31 AM
Keith, does this mean you are posting a puzzle tomorrow? I have one ready if you don't post one.
30/Jan/14 2:33 AM
Isn't Serena during the week, and the old fogies try to make due on the weekends ... if they aren't all stove up one way or another?
30/Jan/14 2:37 AM
I see that Hal tried to sneak in there.
30/Jan/14 2:40 AM
Keith, not sure what ''all stove up one way or another'' means.

Typically, I post Mon - Thurs, HalT does Fri and Canuk Greg does Sat and Sun. All days are my time not site time.
30/Jan/14 2:43 AM
For the record, I'm more than willing to share my days as well.
30/Jan/14 2:44 AM
Good Maen, good people. This bitter cold is getting . I'd like to snow, and welcome spring .
30/Jan/14 3:00 AM
My environmentalist daughter is proclaiming that this cold and snow is the salvation of Michigan's native species because it will kill off or hamper the unchecked spread of invasive species such as the emerald ash borer.
30/Jan/14 3:02 AM
So sorry for the people across the nation's SE - like you, HalT - and especially in hard-hit Atlanta.
30/Jan/14 3:09 AM
Harassment? I thought I was giving you positive attention, Keith! Anway, I am glad that your peristalsis has returned, and that you will soon offer us a vowel movement! Yeah!
30/Jan/14 3:10 AM
I'm rationing the last of my supply of firewood, grateful for a sunny window. If I keep moving, it won't feel so bad to have the electric ceiling heat set below 60F. Still bitter, bitter cold outside.
30/Jan/14 3:11 AM
Judy, Judy, Judy (be glad I typed it and you can't hear my horrible Cary Grant accent). How's the weather in your San Diego neighborhood? Up near your mountain retreat?
30/Jan/14 3:15 AM
I'm actually waiting for Mr Cee to come back into puzzle mode as well. I usually have several prepared in advance, so I can post a puzzle anytime, but I like doing other folks puzzles as well (sometimes even math)!
30/Jan/14 3:23 AM
I have a question for all you teacher/educational types and for you Aussies. Little boy wants to learn how to read. I've been looking at some online sites. One site that I found is based out of Australia. Do we see any potential conflict with that? Or at this point does a English is English philosophy work?
30/Jan/14 3:29 AM
Stove up ... recuperating from who knows what ... maybe just old age.

Peristalsis? Judy must have been back to the Proctologist again.

CG suggested I offer my puzzle tomorrow (filling in for Hal?). That OK with everybody?

30/Jan/14 3:38 AM
If they don't like it they can post their own.
30/Jan/14 3:40 AM
Unless my days of the week are wrong, tomorrow is still one of my puzzle posting days and HalT's is Friday/Saturday(on the site).
