I always find it interesting that they give these thing names. I learned from a box of cereal that they cycle through the names of hurricanes but remove them from the list if they exceed a certain amount of damage.

It's a good thing my cookout got moved to tomorrow because we are getting lots of rain right now. It should clear up this afternoon but I prefer things to be dry if we are going to be outside.

Based on the clue in parentheses, find a four-letter word that can be inserted backwards into the blank to complete a longer word.

Example: di____ve (a defeat)

Many years ago I got caught out in that area by two or three cyclones. One ripped my roof off. During another 48 inches of rain fell in 2 days - i.e. at a rate of 1 foot per hour.

I had my staples and stitches removed yesterday. I am free, at least during the day. I still need to wear the restraint at night so I don't do something in my sleep to injure the shoulder.

Greg, I hope Bouchard does better tomorrow than Raonic did today. The last hopes of all Canadians will be resting with Eugenie in the Ladies' Finals. (Tennis trivia - did you know she has a beautiful twin sister named Beatrice? They were named after the British princesses!)
