Hi Wolf. Hope you had a great day yesterday. Just to follow up a bit on Sarah's (and mine) comments from yesterday - about your teaching, is it computer science that's your field?

Well, I was a (world renown) Mathematician but I also programmed the UNIVAC I in 1954 so got interested in computers. While I did not take (there were none) CS courses, I taught myself and began teaching CS courses in addition to Mathematics. Here at the University of Texas at Dallas, I served as the first Head of the CS Department. Later, when the Engineering School was formed, I served as the first Master of the College. Later I served a term as Head of the Computer Engineering Program. I also taught EE classes. Last year I published 'Introduction to ARM Assembler' but my first book was 'Foundations of General Topology' in 1964.

Oh, wow, Wolf -- double wow!! I don't know where the start, as I could ask you questions (starting with a few about topology), all day! Thanks for this, Wolf!
