I listened to 'Pillars of the Earth' and it is also a mini series - the building of a cathedral and how it was done over the lifetime of the builder - pictures like this remind me of that book

DoA, I can't remember!

It's that time of the year here in Western New York; time to move things inside, prepare for inclement weather! We've been preparing to close our 'summer place' - it is no longer Summery! We still have more to do, but we've begun the chore!!!

I always look forward to those few Autumn days - great days for apple picking, leaf-raking, grabbing some sunshine on our faces before the sun disappears for another day, putting our veggie garden to bed as we gather the last of our Heirloom tomatoes. Tonight may be the final BLT Sandwich with those last tomatoes from our garden - YUM!
