We were going around the Scottish coast - landed in Glasgow, spent the first night with relatives of friends in Stirling, so visited Stirling Castle & town on our way north. We stopped at Arbroath because of the ruined Abbey!

And the reason for going to Scotland at all, (apart from the fabulous scenery on the west coast!) Was a friend's daughter's wedding!
