Kathy - two other ladies ended up hiring a tandem bike because they had walked so far, and it was very hot, that they wouldn't have got back to our meeting place on time. They were glad they did as I had initially asked them if they would hire bikes with me and one didn't want to. She ended up enjoying the ride back.
