Hello Amelia - to your own page. Perhaps you'll get so used to having the smilies you might become a full member. Now you will have to get the decorators in and pretty up your page. Here's something to start you off.
Cheers

Oh, Amelia, I'm so very sorry to hear about your Dad. It must be very sad and hard for your family and at times like this you do all you can to help but you never feel that it's enough. I'm sure you are all doing all you can to help him and each other to cope with it all. Best wishes to you all and keep your chin up.

Hey Amelia
Firstly let me begin by saying the Membership Club.

Next, I'm very sorry to read about your father, it is a very hard and trying time for you and your family. I know you are giving 100% to help him and your mother, and yet feel its still not enough. Thou your Dad will have his good days and his bad, I'm sure he knows deep down how much you love him and that you care for him. Enjoy the Good days, remember all the good times you have had, there are 1000's of these days. Try and hold onto these days when he has a bad one, for its only 1 compared to the 1000's of good ones you have shared and will continue to share.
Take good care of yourself Angie

Just cut & pasted this from tough in case you didn't see it tonight.

Hello Amelia - I'm not surprised it was in the book you mentioned because it is very popular with tourists, as the Giant Karri trees always have been.
It's a very picturesque part of the south-west.

LynnDee for your kind words and the wine and apple pie. My Dad is under the care of a very good Dr as we have already seen an improvement in Dad's behaviour, he will have to take tablets for the rest of his life but as long as it helps thats all we want.

Hello Amelia, thanks for visiting my page. i have a small confession to make - that isn't my photo on my page. I guess I should have said that at the top of the page. I am in the process of remedying that - have opened a flickr account & will have my own photos by the end of the week, so please come back to visit. Thanks for the cake, it was delicious. I will leave you a bottle of bubbly & a box of Lindor balls.

hi amelia
i am on a quest to try and drop in on everyone on the members list at some time to say hi!
you aren't all that far away from barooga. we used to live at wentworth, so have driven through/past robinvale quite a few times.
hope you are doing well after the loss of your father (hope i haven't got that wrong). i know from experience that now is the time that you expect him to walk in the door and it all to have been a nightmare. i am sure he is still with you and looking over you.

Hi Amelia, thanks for dropping by and the flowers are lovely and most welcome, the photo was taken when we had had some rain, alas it is so dry now, no flowers. I have been watching that storm on the east coast, looks awful. I have left some Plantagenet Cab Sav on your table for you both to enjoy.

thanks for the mandarins! we love them - they add a great flavor to our smoothies and i use them in a few drinks. perfect. being able to grow those, does that mean you have temperate weather? we have sumatsu oranges around here; they are more like nectarines in look and taste.

love the photo. a houseboat cruise is on my list of things to do! i'd love to float down the mississippi or take the intercoastal waterway down the atlantic seacoast.

Amelia you must be relieved that your family have not been unduly affected by the storm. Candlelight is grossly overrated when you have to have it. We had a had severe storm over here in Perth a couple of years ago and had no power for a week. We were probably a lot healthier and fitter by the end of it, but boy were we glad when it came back on.
