The Moon at Total Lunar Eclipse

I took this photo of the moon during the totality phase of the lunar eclipse of August 28, 2007, from Jupiter, Florida. I had my Nikon on night landscape setting, the camera mounted on a tripod, full zoom, and I used the built-in timer.

Lovely Jim, well done.

Unfortunately - just as it was about to fully eclipse here, black clouds rolled over the moon.

Nice "capture" as they say, Jim! What time did this occur? I was too tired to get up & watch it. Thanks for letting me see it now. (8:10 AM EST)

Thanks for putting that up Jim. My kids were trying to get photos here, but there was just too much cloud cover to really see anything. I'll show them that picture tomorrow. Thanks!
