Eve, mind if I put comments about the quilts? This Pattern is called Trip around the world, and it is tacked or tied, instead of hand or machine quilted. I love the colors in this one, es[ically the deep red.

folded quilt on the end seems to be a sashed 9 patch. Again, this is tied or tacked.

second pew, the one sadhed in red, is a bow tie pattern I think. Beside it is a variation of a 9 patch, where 4 of the nine patches are divided. Since the outside half of the square is same as the sashing ( fabric between the blocks) it totally changes the look of the 9 patch! I have not seen that before and had to look a while to figure the pattern!!
