First off, I'm not a hunter. But if I was hungry, I would be. And, I'll guarantee that I wouldn't want to eat meat from a diseased animal.

If you do a little research, you will find that the majority of the 'mass shooters' were taking psychiatric drugs that have unpredictable side effects, which were prescribed for mental issues. Third, regarding “trophy hunters”. In the vast majority of cases, they have a permit issued by the legal authority in the location where they intend to hunt. If the hunter doesn’t want the meat, it is frequently donated to local charities for distribution to those in need. If it is left behind, it becomes food for other carnivores.

Aside from the workplace “grudge” shootings, shooters pick locations where there will be many people with little or no means to resist. Can you say untrained / unarmed? (How many mass shootings have occurred at a police officer’s convention or at a gun show?

I think it's important to recognize that hunting isn't always about killing. For many it is a reason, an excuse, to get out into the great outdoors, to explore, to get away from everyday pressures, to experience nature around you. It is a great opportunity to bond with friends and suitably aged family members, to work as a team, to share the experience of surviving outside the everyday environment.

It's an exercise in planning and discipline - taking adequate supplies, learning what you can and cannot do without, proper care of supplies to avoid spoilage, not wasting resources such as water, rationing so that supplies last for the trip.

As for the hunting itself, it's all about learning the habits of the animal being hunted, where and when it is most vulnerable to attack, and being in the right place at the right time to shoot or photograph or simply to observe.

5) Welfare - Take control of every aspect (food, housing, income) of their lives because that will make them fully dependent on the government.
6) Education - Take control of what people read and listen to and take control of what children learn in school.
7) Religion - Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools because the people need to believe in ONLY the government knowing what
is best for the people.
8) Class Warfare - Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. Eliminate the middle class. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to tax the wealthy with the support of the poor

I'm DevilOrAngel and these are my thoughts and opinions. (Posted in response to a post by another member on another Sudoku page.)

Like all news commentators / pundits, some of Trevor Noah's thoughts are spot on. Others are a long way off. There is a lot of difference between 'peaceful protest' and the rioting, looting, arson and general mayhem that is occurring. I have yet to see a ''protesting'' looter with a facial expression that may be construed as grief. It's more like, Oh Boy, Free stuff!!! Come and get it...

As for the police in 'riot gear' - they have learned, through bitter experience, to expect to be pelted with rocks, bottles, etc when responding. You don't want to be subjected to tear gas, pepper spray and rubber bullets? Don't associate with instigators...

During my lifetime, have been privileged to meet some fine people. I've also, like most of us, met some I wouldn't cross the street for. Ethnicity has never been a determining factor, in my friendships.

What we are seeing in the media is an altered reality and selective coverage... and, in the case of Trump coverage, outright lies and misquotes that are repeated enough that most of the listening public has begun to believe it.
Yes, it is gaslighting. Yes, the media is telling you stories that are incorrect, with out of context quotes and often complete lies.
Yes, you are being told that massive injustices are being done while riots, looting and murders are being ignored. Yes there are horrible injustices being done to police officers involved in tragic deaths with violent, armed criminals.
Yes, you are not crazy.


Have you ever asked yourself, ‘am I crazy?’ If you have ever asked yourself that, you’re not crazy. You’re most likely being gaslighted. Gaslighting is a form of psychological abuse aimed at controlling a person by altering reality to the point where the person will doubt their own sanity.

The term “gaslighting” comes from a 1930’s play called Gas Light. The main character in the play literally tries to drive his wife crazy by gradually dimming the gas-powered lights in their home. When she notices the lights dimming, her husband not only denies that the lights are dimming, he convinces her that she is imagining it to the point where she questions her own sanity.

We are living in a perpetual state of gaslighting. The reality that we are being told by the media is at complete odds with what we are seeing with our own two eyes. And when we question the false reality that we are being presented, or we claim that what we see is that actual reality, we are vilified as racist or bigots or just plain crazy. You’re not racist. You’re not crazy. You’re being gaslighted.

New York State has twice as many deaths from Covid-19 than any other state, and New York has accounted for one fifth of all Covid-19 deaths, but we are told that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has handled the pandemic better than any other governor. But if we support policies of Governors whose states had only a fraction of the infections and deaths as New York, we’re called anti-science and want people to die. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

We see mobs of people looting stores, smashing windows, setting cars on fire and burning down buildings, but we are told that these demonstrations are peaceful protests. And when we call this destruction of our cities, riots, we are called racists. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

We see the major problem destroying many inner-cities is crime; murder, gang violence, drug dealing, drive-by shootings, armed robbery, but we are told that it is not crime, but the police that are the problem in the inner-cities. We are told we must defund the police and remove law enforcement from crime-riddled cities to make them safer. But if we advocate for more policing in cities overrun by crime, we are accused of being white supremacists and racists. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

The United States of America accepts more immigrants than any other country in the world. The vast majority of the immigrants are “people of color”, and these immigrants are enjoying freedom and economic opportunity not available to them in their country of origin, but we are told that the United States is the most racist and oppressive country on the planet, and if we disagree, we are called racist and xenophobic. If we allow everyone who wants to come to the US to enter without controlling the population of immigrants, our country would go bankrupt attempting to provide healthcare and education for the multitudes of asylum seekers world-wide. Higher crime rates from allowing ANYONE TO ENTER…. well, we already have dramatic and very sad proof of that correlation. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

Capitalist countries are the most prosperous countries in the world The standard of living is the highest in capitalist countries. We see more poor people move up the economic ladder to the middle and even the wealthy class through their effort and ability in capitalist countries than any other economic system in the world, but we are told capitalism is an oppressive system designed to keep people down. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

Communist countries killed over 100 million people in the 20th century. Communist countries strip their citizens of basic human rights, dictate every aspect of their lives, treat their citizens like slaves, and drive their economies into the ground, but we are told that Communism is the fairest, most equitable, freest and most prosperous economic system in the world. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

The most egregious example of gaslighting is the concept of “white fragility”. You spend your life trying to be a good person, trying to treat people fairly and with respect. You disavow racism and bigotry in all its forms. You judge people solely on the content of their character and not by the color of their skin. You don’t discriminate based on race or ethnicity. But you are told you are a racist, not because of something you did or said, but solely because of the color of your skin. You know instinctively that charging someone with racism because of their skin color is itself racist. You know that you are not racist, so you defend yourself and your character, but you are told that your defense of yourself is proof of your racism. So, we ask ourselves, am I crazy? No, you’re being gaslighted.

Gaslighting has become one of the most pervasive and destructive tactics in American politics. It is the exact opposite of what our political system was meant to be. It deals in lies and psychological coercion, and not the truth and intellectual discourse. If you ever ask yourself if you’re crazy, you are not. Crazy people aren’t sane enough to ask themselves if they’re crazy. So, trust yourself, believe what’s in your heart. Trust your eyes over what you are told. Never listen to the people who tell you that you are crazy, because you are not, you’re being gaslighted.

This from a friend: Not sure all of this is true, just at least 90%. The flag presented is particularly disgusting to me. I served 23 years in the US army in order to get my flag. That black man should have never died the way he did. My understanding is the autopsy showed he had enough fentanyl in his body to kill him. Should have just let it happen!!

This is for a guy who was arrested NINE times; was a convicted drug dealer (and at a drug deal the day he died); held a gun to the stomach of a pregnant lady while his five buddies robbed her home; did prison time three different times totaling about eight years, and obviously didn't learn from our penal system. And America is memorializing him by painting murals of the guy on the sides of buildings like he's a hero? Unbelievable!! You got to be kidding me. Crime does pay!

If even one bullet had gone off during a second amendment protest, our politicians would be trying to Ram gun control thru at a record Pace. But when rioters burn our cities to the ground, government gets on its knees. Never forget.

CLASSIC LAYOFF LETTER

Dear Employees:

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Joe Biden is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%.

But, since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.

So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Biden Harris' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more, fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change......I gave it to them.

I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.

Curtis & Leroy saw an ad in the Hearald-Citizen in Cookeville, TN. and bought a mule for $100. The farmer agreed to deliver the mule the next day.The next morning the farmer drove up and said, 'Sorry, fellows, I have some bad news, the mule died last night .'Curtis & Leroy replied, 'Well, then just give us our money back.'The farmer said, 'Can't do that. Heck, we don't hafta tell nobody he's dead!'A couple of weeks later, the farmer ran into Curtis & Leroy at the IGA grocery store and asked. “What'd you fellers ever do with that dead mule?”They said, 'We raffled him off like we said we wuz gonna do.' Leroy said, 'Shucks, we sold 1000 tickets fer two dollars apiece and made a profit of $1998.00 The farmer said, 'My Lord, didn't anyone complain?'Curtis said, 'Well, the feller who won got upset. So we gave him his two dollars back.'

Curtis and Leroy now work for the government. They're overseeing the Vote Count, Bailout & Stimulus Programs.

Limit all U.S. politicians to two Terms:- One in office- One in prison...

Through their inaction and quasi support, in the last year or so, democratic run cities have led protesters, looters and rioters to believe that there are no consequences for their behavior…

Let us all be: a “United States” again, message from Joe Biden.

WHY SHOULD THAT BE AN ISSUE WITH ME ?

For the last 4+ years, the Democrats have gone scorched earth.

You have salted the fields and now you want to grow crops.

The problem is we have memories longer than a hamster.

We remember the protests the day of/after inauguration.

We remember the 4 years of personal attacks and endless name calling

We remember “not our president” and the “Resistance…”

We remember being called racist and evil.

We remember Maxie Walters telling followers to harass Trump supporters in department stores and gas stations.

We remember the Presidents press secretary being chased out of a restaurant.

We remember hundreds of Trump supporters being physically attacked.

We remember Trump supporters getting Doxed, and fired from jobs.

We remember riots, and looting.

We remember “a comedian” holding up the President’s severed head.

We remember a play in Central park paid with public funding, showing the killing of President Trump.

We remember Robert de Niro yelling “_-_-Trump” at the Tony’s and getting a standing ovation.

We remember Trump being accused of being a Russian spy and the media going with it. Trying to frame him for treason.

We remember Nancy Pelosi tearing up the State of the Union Address.

We remember how totally in the tank the mainstream media was in opposition.

We remember non-stop in your face lies and open cover-ups from the media.

We remember the MSM cabal in 24/7 Hate Trump broadcasts.

We remember the press not holding Democrats responsible for anything and hiding anything negative.

We remember conservative voices neutered by Tech companies (Facebook, Google, Twitter, etc.).

We remember the partisan impeachment.

We remember the President and his staff being spied on; even before he was President and Obama & Biden knew of it.

We remember Republican congressmen shot on a ball field by a Socialist supporter of Bernie Sanders.

We remember every so-called comedy show turn into nothing but Trump hate fest.

We remember 95% negative coverage in the news from the mainstream media and newspapers.

We remember the state governors asking for and getting everything they wanted to address COVID-19 then blaming Trump.

We remember leftists threatening outside the homes of prominent Republicans and TV commentators who support Trump.

We remember the attempted vile attempted destruction of Brett Kavanaugh by Democrats, Kamala Harris in particular.

We remember people pounding on the Supreme Court doors.

We remember that we were called every name in the book for supporting President Trump.

We remember that many in Hollywood said they would leave after Trump was elected, but they stayed here anyway.

We remember the hundreds of taxpayer funded police cars burnt during your ‘mostly peaceful’ demonstrations.

We remember our conservative voices being cancelled on major US campuses.

This list is endless, but you get the idea.

My friends will be my friends, but a party that has been attacking the President for 4 long years does not get a free pass with me.

So Joe, take your, 'Let’s be United' and shove it .

YOU CAN'T JUSTIFY THIS INSANITY. WE HAVE BECOME A NATION THAT HAS LOST ITS COLLECTIVE MIND! WE SEE OTHER COUNTRIES GOING SOCIALIST AND COLLAPSING, BUT IT SEEMS LIKE A GREAT PLAN TO US.

UNIVERSITIES THAT ADVOCATE EQUALITY, DISCRIMINATE AGAINST ASIAN-AMERICANS IN FAVOR OF AFRICAN-AMERICANS. SOME PEOPLE ARE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THINGS THAT HAPPENED BEFORE THEY WERE BORN, AND OTHER PEOPLE ARE NOT HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT THEY ARE DOING RIGHT NOW.

CRIMINALS ARE CAUGHT-AND-RELEASED TO HURT MORE PEOPLE, BUT STOPPING THEM IS BAD BECAUSE IT'S A VIOLATION OF THEIR RIGHTS. PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER OWNED SLAVES SHOULD PAY SLAVERY REPARATIONS TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN SLAVES. PEOPLE WHO HAVE NEVER BEEN TO COLLEGE SHOULD PAY THE DEBTS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS WHO TOOK OUT HUGE LOANS FOR THEIR DEGREES. $5 BILLION FOR BORDER SECURITY IS TOO EXPENSIVE, BUT $1.5 TRILLION FOR “FREE” HEALTH CARE IS NOT.

IF YOU CHEAT TO GET INTO COLLEGE YOU GO TO PRISON, BUT IF YOU CHEAT TO GET INTO THE COUNTRY YOU GO TO COLLEGE FOR FREE. AND, POINTING OUT ALL THIS HYPOCRISY SOMEHOW MAKES US 'RACISTS'?! NOTHING MAKES SENSE ANYMORE, NO VALUES, NO MORALS, NO CIVILITY AND PEOPLE ARE DYING OF A CHINESE VIRUS, BUT IT’S RACIST TO REFER TO IT AS CHINESE EVEN THOUGH IT BEGAN IN CHINA.

WE ARE CLEARLY LIVING IN AN UPSIDE DOWN WORLD WHERE RIGHT IS WRONG AND WRONG IS RIGHT, WHERE MORAL IS IMMORAL AND IMMORAL IS MORAL, WHERE GOOD IS EVIL AND EVIL IS GOOD, WHERE KILLING MURDERERS IS WRONG, BUT KILLING INNOCENT BABIES IS RIGHT.

WAKE UP AMERICA, THE GREAT UNSINKABLE SHIP, TITANIC AMERICA, HAS HIT AN ICEBERG, IS TAKING ON WATER, AND IS SINKING FAST.

Joe Biden lied. He lied about wanting to bring the country together. He lied about trying to work 'across the aisle.' He lied about being a 'moderate.'
It took only 10 days to expose President Biden for the fraud that he is. That’s a good thing.
After the blitzkrieg rollout of 40 executive orders that targeted President Trump programs, kowtowed to progressives (and enraged conservatives) on hot-button issues like taxpayer funding of abortion and showed Biden’s disdain for our country’s system of checks and balances, Republicans have zero excuse for cooperating with the new administration.
Even as Biden pretends to want Republican cooperation, his flurry of executive orders suggests he’s not only determined to alienate those 74 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump, but he’s in a rush to do so.
Why? Does Biden think that his victory in November delivered a mandate so pronounced that he can govern as he pleases? Has he interpreted his win as validation of the policies he’s rolling out so furiously?
DOES HE NOT REMEMBER POLLING THAT SHOWED ALMOST HALF OF BIDEN’S VOTERS WERE VOTING AGAINST DONALD TRUMP RATHER THAN FOR JOE BIDEN?
