The Firefall used to happen at Glacier Point. They stopped doing it in 1968. I can remember camping in the valley as a kid, and being entranced by the Firefall.

Surely that cannot be ICE ? Therefore what is it ?
I love the photo with the silloetted (?) figure in the foreground. He (?) is wearing a short sleeved shirt which indicates to me that it is not winter thus my question.
