Beautiful photo of Norway, Ray.
I went to Norway with some old family friends from England four years ago and stayed in the Sogndal Region, it was beautiful. We stayed in the same hut for two weeks outside of Sogndal and had daily drives around sightseeing. It's a spectacular country.

Dear Anne:
Thanks. I think you are discerning, because this is my favourite of all my thousands of photographs, and not so many people appreciate it to the full.
I still remember standing with my boots in cold water waiting for the sunlight, which changed every minute, to provide the required constrasts between foreground (sun), middle distance (shade) and far distance (sun).

I loved Norway. Was there 66-68. A friend and I went on a trip from Oslo to Trondheim then Bodo Hammerfest and on to Nordcap on Midsummer's Night then down by ferry (just the regular everyday passenger boat) to Bergen then back to Hull by boat.
The trip down the Norway coast was very cold despite the fact that it was summer
