Is the bus carrying all the accompanying escorts of the riders, or are they the 'helpers' who follow the balloon & help when it descends?

The bus only carried the other assistant with the driver and then my son, his wife and her step-father, who all helped. Most people were just couples by themselves and it took us from the nearby airfield to the paddock where we took off. The bus driver also sent up small balloons to check the weather, mainly the wind direction, to let the balloon operator know.
