Gatorland? Or Egretland?

On our most recent trip to Gatorland Zoo, my son snapped this pic of the breeding pond exhibit. Some of the more than 100 alligators basked in the sun, the water low from a pond-draining the staff had performed the previous day. This lack of mobility made the already-bold Great Egrets even more willing to steal hotdog bits thrown by the tourits for the gators.

A couple of the egrets look as though they are standing ON the gators! Bold is an understatement.
