The photo looks like a very old bridge, but where.

A real stone bridge - wow! Built by hand - maybe a long time ago! But where in the world is it?

Good afternoon to all! It is certainly not a bridge over troubled water!

Looks as though someone has been swimming to judge by all the towels hanging out to dry!

Don't care where it is. Wish I were there.

StoneBrenge?

Assuming that:
a) the water in the creek is rather mineralized, that is to say, NOT soft water.
b) you find yourself standing on one of the bridge's stones pondering whether or not to jump in the water...
c) that you would find yourself "Between a rock and a hard 'trace'?"

Nevermind.

Apparently, "trace" is a LAND based term and not a HYDROLOGICAL term.

Mea culpa. J-

Since there is no troubled water in sight, what's under the bridge? Trolls? Billy Goats? Knights from Monty Python?

Welcome back, Jaffy. Thought I'd driven you away. BTW, what does "brenge" mean?

Thanks for the word for the day.
