Good Morning all. Finally, a clear sky and already warm at 10:00 am, Eastern Daylight Time on the Atlantic US. Wind light SW, but hardly stirs the trees. The middle of the Memorial Day Weekend. Some parades, some barbecues, a few cemetary visits, and mostly huge shopping binges on Monday.

Another beautiful day in New England! It's going to be a hot Memorial Day tomorrow. I hope none of the children pass out in the parade! That happened once a few years back.

This one must be extra easy; I made my best time ever, but I'm still struggling to get under 5 minutes. At 63, my reflexes are slowing, I think, and I need to learn a few more strategies, too.

We are having a rainy Memorial weekend; not unusual for this part of OR, but this year we had a More...

TO Judy in San Diego
Judy, Love the list of acronyms! What did you teach before you retired? Have a wonderful San Diego Memorial Day! Hope it's sunny; no June Gloom!
 |  |
Who added more acronyms? Thanks! Where are you from? Some of those are unfamiliar to me. Of course, California has to have all its own ...

LORRA: I was a reading teacher for 7 to 9 year-olds. I picked my husband's brain for many of the acronyms -- he is long-time school administrator and more familiar with them!

Fog has already burned off, and it should be a lovely day. You have a good one, too!

Thanks for your comments!

3:58 today...back to reality. There's something disturbing about that picture. I'll warn beforehand that my offering for today is quite long, about frivolous lawsuits for those of you that skip things.

A very proper man started going into the neighborhood drug store every week and buying 2 dozen boxes of condoms. Week after week, he would come in with the same order.

One day, the druggist felt he had to say something to the man.

Loved these, KEITH! Sometimes our legal system seems to be turned upside down, doesn't it? The inmates running the asylum?

I predict that Andre will make her reappearance sometime today - we just cannot go any longer without her delightful thoughts!
