Hal, in Aus we have a purple weed that covers large areas called Patterson's Curse. It is especially dangerous for horses if they eat it.

Are these Bluebonnets edible for farm/wild animals?

Hal, I never saw a field of Bluebonnets like this on our way down, all I saw were small patches. Good to see such a field.
