Double Rainbow in Jupiter FL

In late afternoon on October 21, 2009, a double rainbow formed that for a few moments went from horizon to horizon. The scientist in me noted the lighter region inside the lower ring, dark between them, and the opposite direction of color on the outer band. The tiny mortal soul inside me smiled and thought "God's Promise."

Great photo, Jim. I love rainbows - they are special because we are only rarely treated to a glimpse of them. I like your "God's Promise" interpretation. Just goes to show you scientists are not ALL about only the "facts"! They can have a spiritual side, too.
