Storm Cloud Rises from Lake Okeechobee

Jupiter is due east of Florida's largest lake, Lake Okeechobee. In the rainy season, the mixture of the Lake's shallow warm water, the relentless sub-tropical sun, and the cooling sea breezes cause millions of gallons of water to evaporate daily from the lake. The water rises into a great thunderstorm, and where the rain falls depends on that day's prevailing winds.
