Been thinking about it for ages, left it to the very last minute to make the ultimate decision. Lots more options if I have the registration, more money, more interesting jobs. And I'm getting a little bit bored where I am. Hubby will just have to work harder for a few months (it is only 3-4 months, so that's not too bad)

Yes, it is extremely hard watching them ill for any length of time. I remember my father waking up one time in his last week. As soon as he relised he was still alive he said 'Bugger'. I thought it summed it up beautifully.

Not too sure about excited, Gail, it was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. And I do like my present job, it's just I feel I need to do more, especially since I will have to work for the next 10-15 years
