I heard that Paul Potts won the final. Is that true?

Yes, Paul Potts won the semi-final. It seems to be quite an interesting story. I wonder if he has had some voice training somewhere along the line or is he just pure talent?

According to the Clips page, he won. There's a clip of his final performance.

I haven't listened to him yet. Have a list of things I want to do here.

Will have to watch that later - can't do it at work. I showed my husband the clip of him singing Nessun dorma (?sp) & he was impressed, & I got goosebumps for the second time

Jenni, haven't had a chance to show either clip to hubby, but I want to. Definitely start with Nessun Dorma so he sees the lead-up to semifinal performance. I guess I'll watch the final performance tomorrow. That's great new if he won.

Becky, Britains Got Talent seems to choose better than American Idol. What do you think?

I quit watching American Idol after the first season. After listening to the current music, is it any wonder. Hubby says it should be called Tonedeaf America.

Becky, I don't watch it either, but know others who do. I agree with your hubby about Tonedeaf! Paul Potts would probably not had a chance here. That would be a shame.

By the way, we used to get American Idol here, but I think they stopped showing it. We have our own version (Australian Idol), but we also had Australia's Got Talent - neither are much good, although Oz Idol has unleashed some BIG & very popular stars (not necessarily very good though)
