Hi emm,
Do you know how to make German leek soup? Was served this soup at a couple of party's, it is delicious. I don't know what kind of cream/cheese is used. Any help is appreciated.

Hi emm, Thanks for the visit. I'm happy to be able to come calling on you. Hoping you have had an opportunity to read your book, Sultree. Let me know how it goes. The Road is my first by McCarthy, that I've read, and I have really enjoyed t. Its different I must say...he doesn't say much, yet he says so very much in a few words. Its touching, its a mystery and shows the importance of relationships! He has won the pulitzer prize for literature with this book. I say all of that to say I await your verdict, and views after you read the book you have. before I forget, I've left you a great bottle of wine and some cheese to nibble as you become deeply engrossed in your books.

Hi emm, Second try for this comment...the gremlins are at work it seems. I just popped in to say hi and to see how your reading of the Cormac McCarthy book was coming along. Was it good? I haven't read that one. What's it about? I just finished an autobiography by Sidney Poitier, The Measure of a Man...its quite good.
Hope to see you on my page again soon. Be sure to bring some book titles with you. CYA

EMM, I cannot believe I have not come visiting before this. Accept my appologies and some home made apple butter.
If you would like the instructions on how to submit an avatar and would like me to get you started with your first couple of them, let me know! I do not currently have a client waiting, you can be first in line even hehehe. I have fun making these, and i have more than i can use at the time, so would be happy to get you started. Someone had to show me how to play with graphics, it is my turn to pass it along now.
We would need to exchange e-mails somehow. Do you have anyone's e-mail addy who is on SA page? I have a few now.

EMM: Thanks for stoping by - you are so lucky to have seen them. I will be putting different songs of theirs up each day this week. I am blessed to be a volunteer at Britt Festivals in Jacksonville, OR - we have all different genres of music througout the summer. I work about 30 concerts each season (this is my tenth) and get to see up & coming artists to well known artists in their genre. Makes for a fun & affordable summer (considering some of the tickets go for nearly $100. The venue is small; a sell-out is 2,200. The setting is beautiful and many artist return often.
Hope you enjoyed the pie along with the music. The recipe is on the first page of the Recipe file.
Haven't been to Germany in many years (3 trips to England since I was in Europe & haven't even been there for about 15 years). In the last 10 years I've made it to New Zealand, Kenya and Alaska. My Mom is the traveler (85 still working as a travel agent); she has been to about 150 countries - many several times.

Emm - if you watch the Loch Lomond video, after at the bottom, they have related videos. Runrig does Loch Lomond - very different from the traditional sound, but it looks as if many people like it. Personally, I'm a traditionalist.

Hi emm! Saw your note on Jane's page about tennis. Nice to know there is another Sudoku member who plays tennis, too. How often do you get to play? Any indoor courts near you? I thought of our trip to Germany last year when I hung some ornaments from Rothenburg on our Christmas tree. Hope you & your family enjoy many blessings at Christmas
& throughout the new year (my smilies just disappeared!)

Hello Emm - My son just returned from Germany about a week and a half ago. He loved it! He said the people were warm and kind. He works for a German company from Lindenburg. They work on rebuilding parts for airplanes.
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas.
May the New Year bring you lots of Blessings.
