His graduation is June 16th! Not much time to everything ready. I'm kind of nervous about it for him.

Stella, congrats to him on becoming top student. My Son #1 was pipped at the post for 1st.

Rola, my sister phoned late yesterday evening & she was much better then. She reported it to the police & they came & picked her up & took her to the station to make a statement & look at photos. She was there for a couple of hours & was exhausted. The police are going to fingerprint her car this morning!!!

Do any of you remember that wet stuff that falls from the sky? Maybe a bit of a rumble? Well shhhh, quitely, we have some falling NOW! was not forcast so not expected, but will take every little drop. It is not wide spread, just a pop up thunder shower, that could be 'locally heavy'. it is comming from the wrong way! What forecasters call back door weather, from south east to north north west. Lots of rain, by market umbrella that is on my front deck was out in the yard and headed acrosss the drive. So my bit of excitement for tonight

Rola, did your son still get special recognition for second? Here, both the first and second get special recognition and both give a speech at graduation. I thought that was going to happen to my son because one of his teacher's was a pain in the neck.

OH, that should have been a LOT OF WIND, wish it was a lot of rain, but not so.

I was soo excited by ours, Al and i both went out on the back porch and WATCHED it! not enough to do much good, we need a nice slow Rain for 24 hours or som but it does smell nice and gives such a nice feel to the wind.

Stella, Robert missed out on overall Dux (it's what we call it here) by a percentage.
R got 4 subject Duxes, Yon Yang got 5 subject Duxes. R & YY shared 3 of them. R also with another both got special merit awards awell. All three students were neck and neck from Year 8 -12...
R for his Uni Entrance Exam was 1 of 23 students in West Aust. to get the highest score 99.95 YY got 99.85

About my chair. it took me 2 years to find just the right fit in a recliner last time I bought one, and you expect me to just pop out and come back with one? Ain't gonna happen.

MizT. I like the smell of the first rains....

Rola, the latter. There was a male driver & a female passenger. The car stopped to let out the passenger, but they continued to have a conversation & the girl didn't get out. They absolutely didn't care about any of the other cars. It was a very busy road in the middle of Sydney, & my sister & presumably other cars behind couldn't pull out as there was too much traffic.

OH MY, Rola, I need to learn abut DUX. Not sure I understand that, but sounds complicated. it is sad to be so very close.

OH, did I tell anyone, i am getting a NEW FREE weedeater? We purchased one this spring, used it twice and it malfunctioned, and injured me, well, there was a bit of blood and a bruise. So, I found website and waded through all the 'did this answer your question' pages, and found the 'contact us' information. Viola, new weedeater shipped to me yesterday, squeaky wheel and such.
